Explore the latest additions in designer swimwear made from the finest quality recycled Italian and Spanish fabrics and ethically handmade in Barcelona.

New models such as the EU SHAG bikini - European Shag (Phalacrocorax aristotelis) and the GREAT NACRE bikini (Pinna nobilis) honour the Mediterranean's most endangered marine species.

The Mediterranean Nacre - Pinna nobilis - is listed as Critically Endangered (CR) on the IUCN Red List.

The European Shag (Phalacrocorax aristotelis) has had a very sharp population decline in the last decade.

One of the most important threats is the accidental mortality that occurs in gillnets, especially in "trammel nets" (gear formed by three superimposed nets, the central one denser than the outer ones), when cormorants get hooked when they try to catch food.
